I had the most amazing stay at a beautiful location in the Black Forest. The hotel was run by a lovely family who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and help me explore the area. The hotel itself was clean and traditional, with a comfortable bed and a stunning mountain view from my balcony. The breakfast spread was delicious and the traditional German cuisine served at the restaurant was top-notch. I also loved how the hotel was conveniently located for hiking, with endless trail options right at my doorstep. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in the Black Forest.

This was our 3rd year using this hotel as an overnight stop and once again we were'nt disappointed by the experience. The hosts are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean and well appointed, parking is easy outside and the best bit is the organic food which is absolutely superb.
No English channels on the TV, not that we went there to watch it however

Title: Quaint hotel with delicious food and fun activities. Text: The Gasthof Adler was such a charming place, with its rustic charm and delightful regional cuisine. I had a great time exploring Tennenbronn and trying out activities like sledding and snowshoeing. Just wish the WiFi and parking weren't such a hassle.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they gave us excellent recommendations for short hikes in the area. The hotel location is perfect as it helped us get acquainted with the city and its surroundings. We loved that the hotel was close to most tourist sites, making it easy for us to explore.
Can't fault anything about it.

Friendly and welcoming staff and atmosphere
Just a minor detail; we did arrive late, since we had requested a late check-in when booking (due to the long distance travel), only to find locked doors... It was a little embarassing to have had to call the proprietor personally, who kindly answered the door walking bare feet! We did feel sorry to disturb him, but he was kind enough to 'brush it off'...

Spent Easter weekend in a hotel in the middle of the Black Forest. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. We enjoyed hiking in the area and exploring the nearby towns. Breakfast had a good variety of foods to choose from and the rooms were very clean.
The hotel didn't have any activity or entertainment for kids during Easter weekend, which made it hard to keep them entertained. the hotel was located far from any shops or restaurants, which made it difficult to find places to eat.
